Lake and Lantern Cafe

I had breakfast at Lake & Lantern and it was such a wonderful experience! I ordered the pancake plate, and honestly, they were the best pancakes I’ve ever had. The service was just as amazing—my server, Sarah, greeted me right away with a warm smile and a cheerful “Good morning” as soon as I walked in at opening. She was so attentive and friendly throughout my visit. It’s clear that both the food and the service here are top-notch. I’ll definitely be coming back. Great place!

I finally got to visit Lake & Lantern today!!! Food was delicious, environment was friendly and welcoming. The energy in this building is just full of love and passion for the people and good food. For my Denver friends it is 1,000% worth the drive! The cafe is right next to Palmer Lake Regional Recreation Area which offers up multiple outdoor activities! Check this restaurant out and make a day of it!

We really enjoy the Lake and Lantern Cafe. We love the wedge salad and the ham and swiss sandwich. The cafe has a cute atmosphere and the staff is extremely friendly. Our family loves coming to this Cafe and you will too!

My husband and I have lived in Palmer lake for 15 years. We love our community and tried Lake and Lantern for the first time last week. Wow! We were so impressed with the dramatic improvement on the inside. Such a warm, modern and inviting environment. But even more impressive was their new menu. It’s affordably priced and the food is wonderful. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who has lived in the surrounding area for many years as well. We applaud Raquel and her staff for making every visit so enjoyable. We now make it a weekly routine for breakfast and lunch. Don’t take our word, try it for yourself. A great place to stop after a nice hike at nearby Spruce Mountain Trail. This is a charming little Cafe that serves great food and has a great atmosphere. Our waitress was very good, the food was outstanding (my sister-in-law and I had the Old Man Breakfast, my brother-in-law had the breakfast tacos, my wife had the eggs and cheese breakfast. Everyone raved about their food, especially the bread. We also got iced coffees and iced tea and it was very good. Overall a great place to stop at a reasonable price.

What a great family owned business. Our family of 8 came in and felt bad because it was pretty full right when they opened. But we were still welcome by Jordan and Sarah and made it their top priority to get us our menus. We ordered drinks and all of them were amazing then as soon as we got our food all of us were VERY impressed with the quality and how delicious the food was. Even though they were a full house as soon as they opened they kept a good attitude and sparked a light that shined. Thank you front and back of house for an excellent morning and staying true to your values!

The food was tasty and the service was awesome. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I had the breakfast burrito 6/10 and my wife had the breakfast sandwich which was 10/10. Coffee was also great. We would definitely recommend stopping by.

The wife and I stopped in for a quick lunch today and couldn't be happier. The food was excellent, the sandwiches were huge, the cappucino was fantastic, and the salad and fruit were so fresh.
